Privacy statement

  1. Registration: When using MedicSen services for the first time, the client will be asked about his personal circumstances and this is the possibility to supply the data required for the communication between MedicSen and the client as well as for the responsible use of the services. More particularly these are: client’s name, email address, age, gender, therapy aim (nominal value, target value, range, blood glucose value), therapy type (syringe or pump), type of diabetes, and other therapy information.
  2. Ongoing use: when using the Apps’ services on an ongoing basis, the following data may be requested: the contextual activity in which the current therapy data is entered, blood glucose level, amount of insulin, tablets, amount of food (carbs / bread units), activities (duration / intensity), (temporary) basal rate (continuously administered insulin dose, units per time unit), body weight, body size. Furthermore, the services process the date, time and the location where the client entered information.
  3. Storage: During an existing internet connection, the data in points 1 to 2 above shall be transferred to MedicSen for scientific research service delivery, backup and storage purposes.
  4. Consent: The client expressly consents to MedicSen editing his personal data (identified above) in line with the Data Protection Act for the purpose of provision of access to the contractual services and their billing.
